Crew on my Dad's cars since 1977, PBS Mk4 DSR, Astech with several engines (Fiat 850, 1300 X1/9 motor, Suzuki GT750 Water Buffalo, Kenny Roberts Yamaha TZ
750), then Fox RF2 with ZX10. Attended SFR drivers school in 1984 in Astech with Fiat 1300 with George Lucas(driving a Paul Decker maintained car) as partner
and Bob Fox as our instructor, Dave Arken Chief Instructor. 1984 SFR DSR Regl Champ, RDC Most Improved Driver (SFR Rookie of year was Jimmy Vasser, tough to
beat him on that one). 1985 Built Zink Z-14 former SV with a Fiat 1300 motor, excellent handling but too heavy. Switched back to SV motor and ran in CSR for a
year against Foster & Billington (big $$), sold car... After that ran Fox RF2 with ZX10 power for a few years, very fast and reliable car, won many races,
set lap records at most tracks on west coast. PCRRC champ 1990. Last outing was at the 'new' Thunderhill. Have repurchased our Astech and will be
restoring to run as a vintage car. Also show up from time-to-time at west coast races, and at the runoffs if anyone asks for help (Sunseri 02, Rennwerks 04
& 06). Best DSR story was 1989 runoffs in Atlanta when after rendering my Fox beyond repair (by sliding off into the hill under the starters stand at
start/finish in Travis' fluid he dumped at the apex of T12) Dick Colburn loaned me his old Nissan Powered Henway(what's a Henway you ask? a FF in SR
clothes) that was his "backup car", we dusted it off, charged the battery, ended up qualifying 14th and finished 7th. Thanks again Dick!!!
